I am currently working as a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department and serving as the Director of the Centre of Excellence in Project-Based Learning (PBL) at Vishwaniketan iMEET, Khalapur, Mumbai University. I take pride in being the first Indian Ph.D. in PBL from Aalborg University, Denmark, awarded by the UNESCO chair in PBL. The European Union granted me the prestigious "Erasmus Mundus Mobility for Life" scholarship.

In my role as an Erasmus + project coordinator and Steering Committee member, I collaborate with an international consortium that includes countries such as India, Denmark, Spain, Bulgaria, Thailand, and Pakistan. With over 19 years of teaching and administrative experience, I have authored 07 textbooks, published 43 journal papers, and hold two patents. Additionally, I have conducted over 160 national and international workshops, training more than 5800+ teachers in PBL and various teaching-learning methods.

My research areas revolve around PBL model designs, Human-Centric Design, and Hydrogen Energy. I have had the privilege of visiting 17 countries and six international universities, while also providing consultancy to three Indian Institutes to develop PBL curriculum and models. My vision is to promote the scientific approach to PBL practices and establish regional centers of excellence throughout India.
